Rail Industries
Rapid Cure Technologies provides a complete line of proven coatings for the rail industry, including interior and exterior systems for boxcars, hopper cars, and tank cars. Available chemistries include waterborne, acrylic, epoxy, novolac, vinyl ester, phenolic, urethane, and alkyd formulations.
Oil & Gas

Rapid Cure Technologies, founded in 2011 by industry veterans Dan Montoney and Tim Shaughnessy, was created to provide customer-focused, innovative solutions in paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants, and resins. Combining decades of experience with cutting-edge chemistries—including conventional and radiation-curable systems—Rapid Cure develops sustainable, competitive products for a wide range of applications.
Today, we serve everyone from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, offering solutions for rail, oil & gas, optical plastics, electrical sealants, and pipe/tube coatings, as well as conventional water- and solvent-based paints for architectural and maintenance needs. With a 20,000 ft² manufacturing facility in Liverpool, NY, on-site labs, and strategic ISO-certified partners across North America, Rapid Cure ensures high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet performance specs, minimize reworks, and deliver globally.

Rail Industrial
INTERIOR LINERS/LININGS: Rapid Cure Technologies provides a full range of interior liners for tank, hopper, and box cars. Our coatings handle chemicals, crude, solvents, food-grade materials, and potable water, meeting NSF-61 and FDA 175.300 standards.
Chemistries include vinyl esters, novolacs, epoxies, urethanes, alkyds, acrylics, polyaspartics, and polysiloxanes, available as Direct-to-Metal or multicoat systems with low or zero VOC/HAPS. Suitable for commodities like crude oil, molten sulfur, solvents, acids, bases, plastics, and food products.
EXTERIOR: Rapid Cure Technologies provides durable exterior coatings for tank, hopper, and box cars. Our Direct-to-Metal and multicoat systems meet all environmental standards with low to zero VOCs and HAPS. With over 20 years in service, RCT coatings—available in epoxies, urethanes, alkyds, acrylics, polyaspartics, and polysiloxanes—are among the most reliable in the industry.
LOCAMOTIVE: Rapid Cure Technologies offers durable exterior coatings for locomotives, available as two-coat (primer/topcoat) or three-coat (primer/color/clear) systems. All meet strict environmental standards with low to zero VOCs and HAPS. With over 20 years in service, RCT coatings provide long-lasting UV and corrosion protection, maintaining color and gloss. Chemistries include epoxies, urethanes, alkyds, acrylics, polyaspartics, and polysiloxanes.

Oil & Gas
STORAGE TANKS: Rapid Cure Technologies provides interior and exterior coatings for the storage tank industry, with over 15 years of proven service. Our solutions handle chemicals, crude, solvents, and other petrochemicals, including NSF-61 and FDA 175.300 compliant options.
Chemistries include vinyl esters, novolacs, epoxies, urethanes, polyaspartics, and polysiloxanes. Available as Direct-to-Metal or multi-coat systems, all meet environmental regulations with low to zero VOCs and HAPs. Applications cover FRAC tanks, bulk and skid tanks, rail tank cars, and water towers.
PIPE / TUBE: Rapid Cure Technologies provides UV-curable, water-based, and solvent-based coatings for pipes and tubes, compatible with steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, plastics, and composites. Our coatings deliver durability, corrosion resistance, and enhanced aesthetics for applications in oil & gas, architecture, furniture, and transportation.
ON-SHORE / OFF-SHORE: Rapid Cure Technologies provides a full range of on- and off-shore coatings for the oil & gas industry, from fast-cure maintenance enamels to multi-coat high-performance systems.
Our coatings meet ISO 12944 C2–C5M standards and can include zinc, glass fiber, silicones, and other specialty additives for extreme conditions. SOLAR: Rapid Cure Technologies offers Direct-to-Metal single-coat products for mild conditions and multi-coat systems for extreme environments. Our coatings protect submersible transformers, offshore wind farms, and solar panel support structures from UV, temperature, wind, rain, and snow.
